1st Presbyterian Church, Wichita
We will be installing a custom 4-manual Rodgers PDI instrument and
interfacing it to the existing 54 rank Reuter organ.
When complete, First Presbyterian Church will have use of two Rodgers
consoles. One in the main church and one in the chapel.

Our Redeemer Lutheran, Salina
Shown hereis a portion of the 4' Octave which will be installed
as part of a new pipe / digital combination organ at Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church in Salina.
Upon completion of the church's new sanctuary, we will have another
great example of why blending traditional pipework with state-of-the-art
digital technology is the answer for so many churches.
Status: Ongoing. |

Trinity Heights UMC, Newton
The Combs Organ crew is installing a pipe organ with digital additions
in the new sanctuary. 12 ranks of 100 year old Gottfried pipes,
which have been perfectly preserved, are the foundation of the instrument.
This project includes the construction of 3 custom oak facade towers,
the tallest of which is 16'.

St. Mary's Catholic Church, Russell
Looking at these pictures, you might get the idea we like building
custom digital / pipe combination organs. Well, you are right.
Actually, we love it! Why? The results are amazing. Just as they
are with this instrument, created by interfacing a Rodgers Trillium
788, 2 Manual console with 9 ranks of pipes.
The sound fills the new sanctuary of St. Mary's as if from an instrument
many times its size. The beauty of combination organs is achieving
so much, even in small spaces, for a fraction of the cost of a new,
stand-alone pipe organ.
Status: Completed. |

Colby United Methodist Church
The 12 rank pipe organ at this large and active church
always seemed a bit small. One organ consultant even recommended
getting rid of it entirely.
We felt a better solution was to create a hybrid digital / pipe
combination organ. In Early 2007, we installed a Rodgers Trillium
968 3-Manual organ.
Interfacing the two technologies together has created an instrument
with over 100 stops, multiple memory levels, MIDI, and countless
other features while still encorporating the original pipes.
Status: Completed. |

1st United Methodist, Great Bend
The Austin organ at this church is a unique and wonderful example
of early 20th century organ building.
To bring the organ back to top working condition, we replaced /
rebuilt the electrical relay system while preserving the mechanical
and aesthetic integrity of the instrument.
This project featured the construction of custom windchests and
the addition of 5 ranks of pipes.
Status: Completed. |

1st Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson
The 75 year old Moller pipe organ at this church was and
is in very good condition, having been maintained well through the
years.
To serve the congregation even better, 9 ranks of new pipes were
added including a new Mixture IV, Festival Trumpet, and an octave
extension to create a true 32' pedal reed.
The new organ was dedicated in the Spring of 2006 with a concert
given by John Leavitt.
Status: Completed. |

1st Presbyterian, Salina
The organ at 1st Presbyterian Church in Salina is NOT a combination
organ. Yes we do also work on projects that are strictly pipework.
In this case, Combs Organ Specialists designed, built, and installed
the new Trumpet en Chamade which was added to the 26 rank Reuter
organ.
On Sunday, September 17, 2006 the new solo rank was first used in
worship. Demonstrating its purpose exquisitely, the trumpet led
the congregation in majestic renditions of Lift High The Cross and
God of Our Fathers.
Status: Completed. |
St. John Lutheran, Russell
On the morning of February 19, 2006, St. John Lutheran
Church in Russell, Kansas dedicated their new organ during a worship
service filled with majestic hymns, moving scripture, and grateful
hearts. This inspiring service was the culmination of three long
years of hard work, planning, and fundraising by the members and
friends of St. John Lutheran Church.
